How to Delete Your Account from the App
We're sorry to see you go! If you're sure you want to delete your account, please follow the steps below carefully.
Remember, this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Navigate to Your Profile:
- Open the Fishelly app on your device.
- Tap on the "Profile" tab, which you'll usually find in the bottom navigation bar. It often looks like a user icon ().

Access Account Settings:
- Once on your Profile screen, look for an option labeled "Edit Profile" or "Account Settings".
- Tap this option to proceed.

Find the Delete Option:
- You should now be on the "Edit Profile" screen.
- Scroll down to the bottom of this screen. You might find a section titled "Danger Zone" or similar.
- Within this section, tap the "Delete My Account" button. It's often styled in red and might have a trash icon ().

Confirm Your Decision:
- A confirmation pop-up window will appear on your screen.
- This message will warn you that deleting your account is permanent and all your data will be lost.
- Please read this warning message very carefully.

Finalize Deletion:
- If you are absolutely sure you want to delete your account, tap the button that confirms this (e.g., "Delete", "Yes, Delete My Account", or "Confirm Delete"). This button is typically also styled in red.
- If you've changed your mind, tap "Cancel" or the equivalent option to keep your account.

Account Deleted:
- Upon confirmation, your account deletion process will begin.
- You will typically be logged out of the app automatically.
Important Reminders:
- This Action is Irreversible: Once confirmed, account deletion cannot be undone. You will not be able to recover your account or its data.
- Complete Data Loss: All your profile information, posts, messages, and any other content associated with your account will be permanently removed.
- Check Subscriptions: If you have any active subscriptions through the app, please check how account deletion affects them.
